Lockdown– about which any of us has no idea, when will it be going to end. Even the strongest person is feeling caged, anxious, depressed due to this whole pandemic. And it is getting much worse, even thinking of going out and wander makes us feel scared. There’s a lot of misinformation and data about COVID-19 which leads us to think like that. But how can we improve the condition we are feeling inside to cope up with the outer world.

We have already had gone through half of this phase and a few more days left. We are already winning and a PAT! to yourself. And if you’re reading this, you’re already in the right place and steps ahead in the journey of providing your health and mind a justice. So no worries anymore!

Affirmations can help. Yes, this is the easiest and shortest way to make you feel more confident and less worried.

What are affirmations?

For the people who don’t know, affirmations are the positive words and practice of doing it regularly for self-improvement and self-enhancement. It can be a useful source to build a healthy mind and a positive mental attitude.

This helps people troubling with issues like job, health, family, it can be anything, and doing it can make people shift from fear to a positive attitude of getting things done and take challenges.

People who are masters of Positive affirmations say that write down everything you want and say it loud to ourselves watching yourself in the mirror, just to enhance and fix the mindset. It actually does work for the people who do it regularly.

We can try to say the following 10 positive affirmations out loud to make ourselves and the body more confident and ready to deal with challenges:

Instead of saying that I am stuck and I feel scared.

We can always say that:

1. I am safe, healthy, and at home by God’s grace.

Similarly, for other negative thoughts that we aren’t able to handle to stop coming but what we can handle is to shift those thoughts to a positive affirmation. Continuously saying it in a day and midday and night can help you bring some hope of positivity left on this earth.

2. I am going to spend the coming days with joy and happiness.

3. I am grateful for… (what you have right now that makes your life a little easy). It can be food, air, family, health, etc.

4. I will be brave and will make most of the present day.

5. I have a lot of opportunities coming my way. (opportunity to live one more day, to eat once more, to make yourself a good human being)

6. I am more than enough.

7. I am grateful that I am surrounded by love.

8. All is well.

9. Today I choose happiness and peace.

10. I choose to be kind and to love myself unconditionally.
